Telling Your Wedding Story, Moment By Beautiful Moment

You want to be in the moment...

Your wedding day will be unique and the memories will be priceless - you want photos that truly reflect this. While most of the pictures I capture will be spontaneous moments of joy, laughter, and love, I also make it a point to create some carefully crafted, beautiful portraits. These are photos you'll want to frame, hang on your wall and look back n for years to come.

You want to enjoy your wedding day

Without worrying about spending hours posing for photos.

You want to remember all the important moments

And enjoy looking back on some incredible moments

You want to feel relaxed & Comfortable

And not feel awkward

By the time your wedding day arrives, we’ll have usually met at least twice and had fun together on your engagement shoot. We’ll know each other and you’ll feel much more comfortable and relaxed!

The key feedback I receive time and time again from the couples I work with is that I make them feel completely at ease. There’s something remarkably calming about having a familiar face capturing your most precious moments.

Want to know a secret? I hate having my photo taken!

You might love having your photo taken, but I’m much happier behind the camera!

Over the years, I’ve found that at least one person in each couple isn’t keen on being the subject in a photography shoot. In my marriage, that would be me! But trust me – even though I’m not keen on being on the wrong side of the camera, I absolutely adore my wedding photos. They’re more than just snaps. Let me give you an example of why they’re so important.

The first time we let a 3-year-old Ellie look through our wedding album – having triple-checked that her hands were clean – her eyes lit up with delight. Mummy in a wedding dress! Daddy looked smart! So many faces she recognized, from a time before she even existed. It was a special moment: hearing her questions and seeing her full of curiosity. Your wedding photographs are an important, irreplaceable part of the story of you! One day, they’ll be a window into your past.

Over the years, I’ve developed lots of ways of helping people to feel relaxed, comfortable and happy in front of the camera! Read on to find out how my approach to wedding photography provides the best photos and the best experience!

My Approach To Wedding Photography

01.

Engagement Shoot

LET’S GET YOU COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA

How many professional photos do you have of you as a couple? I know that Anna and I didn’t have ANY before our wedding. An engagement shoot is a great opportunity for us to meet up, have some fun and get to know each other. You’ll begin to relax in front of the camera and get any awkwardness out of the way before the day itself, and you’ll receive some beautiful portraits of the two of you.

Full Coverage of Your Wedding Day

FROM THOSE EARLY MORNING PREPARATIONS, THROUGH TO UNCLE DAVE SLIDING ACROSS THE DANCE FLOOR ON HIS KNEES

All my wedding photography packages include full coverage of your big day, meaning that you’ll have the complete story of your wedding to look back on. I can be there to catch natural shots of you during the morning, and then throughout the ceremony, and from confetti to speeches and right through to dancing: we’ll ensure that you don’t miss a thing.

Timeless Portraits & Candid Moments

BEAUTIFUL PROFESSIONAL PORTRAITS WITHOUT SPENDING HOURS POSING

As well as telling the story of your day, you’ll also want photos that capture something of the magic of your first hours together as a married couple. 90% of our photographs are documentary-style images – but we also want you to have a selection of beautifully composed, professionally lit photographs that show off both you and the amazing venue you’ve chosen for your wedding day.
